 Siddipet is an Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. Sri Guruva Reddy is the First MLA of Siddipet. 

Very Well known politician in National Politics from Siddipet is Sri.K.Chandra Sekhar Rao (Popularly known as KCR), Founder of Telanga Rastra Samithi(Well Known as TRS), KCR has done exceedingly well in this seat since 1983 when he first contested as a TDP Candidate and lost narrowly to the Congress candidate then. From that hiccup onwards, KCR has grown exponentially and won with a whopping majority in the 2004 elections. During the ’04 elections, he defeated his nearest rival with nearly 40 percentage votes. Very Well known politician in AP State Politics from Siddipet are Sri. T.Harish Rao from TRS Party and Sri.Farooq Hussian From Congress Party. 2011 - Farooq Hussain (Congress MLC)
